Two Parks ride
The Centro Ippico La Baita is exactly equidistant from Parco delle Cascine and Parco dei Renai, connected each other by a wonderful road that runs alongside the Arno river.
Parco delle Cascine was realized in 1563 as an agricultural estate owned by Cosimo I de’ Medici and have maintained its monumental appearance with endless meadows, majestic avenues and the cedars forest of Atlas, elms, pines and poplars. Born recently, the Parco dei Renai is instead one of the most important river parks in Europe. It is possible to walk inside deep in the greenery of the several WWF integral reserves, full of typical fluvial and lake wildlife.

Riding to the Abbey
Three days on the saddle in the rolling hills of Umbria, visiting places of considerable historical interest, agricultural panoramas and tasting good home-made cooking and excellent wines. What else? A dip in the pool, if the season permits. On this ride, we will visit the surroundings of Umbertide, up to the castle of Civitella Ranieri, stopping for the night in a splendid agritourism made out from a tobacco drying room. We will then leave for the S. Faustino Abbey, where we will arrive in the evening, after riding through immense pastures, pure streams and ancient woods. The Abbey is a structure dating back to 1200, and will host our exclusive Gala Dinner, based on refined cuisine accompanied by live music.

Horse Ride to San Rossore
San Rossore Estate, which was formerly a property of the Kings of Italy and later of the President of the Republic, it’s a magical place, well known to horseracing and equestrian culture enthusiasts. It is an uncontaminated natural reserve of about 5000 hectares, and as such it is preserved under all aspects, without any human intervention.Our horse trekking to discover the Park begins on the edge of the estate, a reserved area that we can cross and admire in all its natural beauty. Together with our horses, we will reach the sea, where we will be able to have some exciting lope on the beach. There is the possibility to have lunch inside the park and then a free afternoon to visit the nearby city of Pisa.

You will arrive on Friday afternoon at Centro Ippico La baita for a welcome briefing and then out for a free evening to visit the city of Florence. Saturday morning, we will bound to Parco della Roveta, where you can admire the classic Tuscan landscapes and enjoy a full-immersion in the wilderness. Return to La Baita in the evening, in time for a dinner with friends. Sunday morning, ride to Florence historic center.

When you come back from the rides departing from Centro Ippico La Baita, you can taste the local specialties in the restaurant.The menu includes typical Tuscan recipes with variations also for vegetarians, vegans or celiacs. The cellar has a large selection of Chianti wines. Non-riders who do not want to participate to the ride can wait in the Club House where they can read a good book and sip a cup of tea waiting for the riders to return. - We provides to our guests the minimum mandatory safety equipment during each ride (helmet, bodyguard)
- We recommend wearing comfortable clothes that don’t cause discomfort, especially to the legs, when you are on the saddle. For western riders we suggest a pair of soft jeans and boots; for english riders we suggest tight pants and boots or ankle boots like jodhpur
- For insurance purposes, it is mandatory that the reservation and required documentation (in original or by e-mail) are sent to our office at least 24 hours before the excursion begins
- We reserves the right to modify, postpone and cancel the excursions according to the season and weather conditions, for the total safety and comfort of the guests
- Some tour will be arranged only with a minimum number of guests
